Fontzy — Privacy Policy

The short version

Fontzy has no account and no sign-in. Everything you type is processed on your own device, and we never collect, store or transmit it. The one thing that leaves your device is advertising data, handled by Google, and that is described in full below.

What stays on your device

All of the following is kept only on your device, in the app's private storage. None of it is uploaded, and we cannot see it:

The text you type and the styled results it produces.
Your saved styles, the styles you build in Style Studio, and your bios.
Your copy history, if you leave it switched on. You can turn it off and clear it at any time in Settings → Privacy. On Android it is also excluded from cloud backup and device transfer, so it never leaves the device it was made on.
Your settings: theme, language, chosen destination and filters.
A local error log, written only if the app hits an unexpected error, so a problem can be diagnosed rather than guessed at. It stays on the device and is never sent anywhere. Fontzy contains no crash-reporting service.

The Fontzy Keyboard

The keyboard runs entirely on your device and does not record, store or transmit anything you type with it. It reads the style table that ships inside the app, plus the style, theme and recent copies you chose in the app itself.

On iOS the keyboard does not request “Full Access” (open access). iOS therefore denies it network access altogether, so it cannot transmit what you type even in principle. It reads your chosen style and theme from a shared app group container on the device.
On Android the keyboard holds no internet permission of its own.

Both systems warn you when any third-party keyboard is enabled, because a keyboard is technically able to see what you type. That warning appears for every keyboard, including this one. Fontzy does not use that ability.

Advertising

Fontzy shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To do this the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

Your device's advertising identifier — the IDFA on iOS, the Advertising ID on Android.
Coarse device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Your interaction with the ads themselves.
On iOS, Apple's SKAdNetwork receives an install attribution signal. It is designed by Apple so that an install can be credited to an ad without identifying you.

This is handled by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before any ad is requested, through Google's certified consent platform. You can change that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options.
On iOS you are asked separately, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether Fontzy may track you across apps and websites. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised, and every other part of the app behaves exactly the same.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Analytics

Fontzy contains no third-party analytics SDK. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell data to anyone, because we do not have any to sell.

Children

Fontzy is not directed at children under 13 and is not published in a children's category on either store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Permissions

Platform	Permission	Why

Fontzy does not request contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, storage, or an accessibility service on either platform.

Data deletion

Uninstalling Fontzy deletes everything it stored. There is nothing held on a server to delete, because nothing is sent to one. Inside the app you can clear your copy history, saved styles and custom styles individually at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published here and the date at the top will change.
