A flip clock you buy once.
Stand your phone or tablet on a desk or a nightstand and it becomes a
split-flap clock you can read from across a room.

What it does
-
A real mechanical flip. The card folds about its seam in
two stages, gravity pulls it through the turn, and it dips just past flat
before it settles. Most flip clocks fade one number into the next.
-
Twenty-two faces, all of them included. Split-Flap,
Airport, Paper, Segment, Void, Station, Terminal, Neon, E-Ink, Brutalist,
Cassette, Vintage Amber, Obsidian, Mercury, Gold Leaf, Midnight, Copper,
Forest, Ivory, Sakura, Blueprint and Ink — plus five numeral typefaces.
-
Built for the hours you leave it running. Burn-in
protection that rests between moves rather than animating, true black night
mode dimmable below the system minimum, and a display that warms towards
red after dark.
-
Alarms that actually wake you. On iOS they are real system
alarms, so they ring through Silent and through Focus. On Android they ring
over the lock screen and survive a reboot.
-
A world clock that works offline, plus a focus timer,
stopwatch and countdown on the same flip cards.
What it will never do
Show you an advert. Ask for an email address. Create an account. Measure what
you do and sell it. The only network request the app can make is the weather,
it is off until you turn it on, and it carries a latitude and a longitude and
nothing else.
